We exist to secure a place of supremacy in the stars, for ourselves, and for humanity.
The Arkship is the ash that we will rise from to take our place in the universe. Will you share in this destiny with me?
Inde Ad Astra Cinis brothers and sisters.
Unfortunately, we have nearly exceeded the character limit allowed by the Organization Description editor. There is still information relevant to the Org that have yet to be written.
If anyone has any questions pertaining to the organization that are not already answered by the description, please let myself or Abraxos know.
Inde Ad Astra Cinis
Our goal as an Organization is to establish ourselves as a functioning government and military within the verse. To guarantee prosperity to all who fall under our umbrella.
We are new, and small. But we are building the framework for something much greater. Join us and become part of that vision, realize your destiny with TPI.
Inde Ad Astra Cinis.
Inde Ad Astra Cinis, Noveans!
The Phoenix Initiative is recruiting, and we want you to be a part of it. We exist as part of a federation with Dark Star Imperium, The Opean Federation, and The Federation Alpha.
For the moment, roles are first come, first served for ranks Overseer and below, though keep in mind that these positions are subject to change.
We look forward to seeing new faces in our quest for supremacy!
We at TPI have reached 5 members, this great acomplishment is just the first step in our eyes to greatness. We are pleased to say that as all of this is happening we are making plans for the future with both the organization and the game itself. All of the potential this game has it brings joy to my heart and shows us that we can finally do something great and make something of this. The first 5 members of this organization is just the first step, the building blocks if you will of a great ambitious project within the verse. And from this milestone I would like to thank all who have joined or have just been reading our posts within the Dual Universe community. I would also like to humbly invite anyone who wishes to make the verse a safe place to join us here in the Phoenix Initiative. Thank all of you.
Because of this milestone I will soon be releasing a timeline of our future events and plans to provide a basis of what we plan to acomplish.
I hope to see you all within the verse in the playtest tomorrow, Thursday, July 26th.

My journey with Abraxos (whom I nicknamed Caboose long ago) began back in the early days of DayZ Standalone. We both had been recently inducted into The Trust Clan. We were a small group, maybe twenty or so kids and young adults trying our best to be a functioning military. I barely knew him then, just another face among many.
The exact dates and times are difficult to pin down, but after reviving the TT clan with new members and a new teamspeak, we spoke more often. At some point i gifted Abraxos SE, and it has remained a hobby game for us throughout the years. The new clan lasted for around a year before we all went our separate ways. Abraxos and i founded a discord, occasionally popping in to check on one of our friends in his teamspeak. We were searching for a game to start a clan in again. We thought EVE would be the answer, but it proved too daunting. Arma 3 never ran well, and most other games never had the depth, playerbase, or mechanics we yearned for. Star Citizen looked promising, but too far off in its lengthy development cycle. Boredom took the light of hope from our eyes as we started yet another SE survival game. That was when I stumbled upon DU. I gave this game some consideration before purchasing, but seeing such a rich and creative community has given both of us some hope. We founded an organization, and began writing. We hope we can carve a little slice of this universe out for ourselves, and whoever chooses to follow us.
Inde Ad Astra Cinis,
Money is a driver behind almost all things. Now, like always, there exists a need for those with an eye for the markets. Members of this division can be expected to scout for deals among the verse’s many markets, as well as purchasing needed supplies. They will also be responsible for finalizing deals and work contracts between organizations. Inde Ad Astra Cinis.
In the unfortunate reality of war, it pays to have an elite military. Members of this division can expect to participate in training operations, patrols, escort missions, asset defense, and other necessary warfare functions. Inde Ad Astra Cinis
The logistics division ensures that everything within the organization runs smoothly, from gathering resources and moving supplies, to surveying new base sites and taking care of personnel. No operation can take place without logistics expertise. Inde Ad Astra Cinis.

Currently, we are accepting most applicants. this is an 18+ Organization, with exceptions for maturity. We intend to create a functioning government within Dual Universe, with all of the necessary jobs and tasks that come along with that goal. For now we are focusing on growth and development, as most policies and writing on organizational structure are still being formed. Everything within the organization is subject to change.
---Code of Conduct---
All members of The Phoenix Initiative are to be treated with the same respect.
All Military Members of TPI are expected to follow the command of those above them and hold the word of those individuals to the highest regards.
All Members of specific branches within the initiative are expected to follow the word of those above them unless what is asked is inhumane or goes against any of the rules of conduct described here.
Members of the Duality are expected to respect the individual of any organization and will do the best to preserve peace in the verse by any means necessary.
The Phoenix Initiative as a whole will provide for any member within its ranks whatever assistance is required to promote peace amongst itself and in the Verse.
All forms of discrimination of individuals such as sex, race ect. are outlawed by the codes of conduct within the initiative.
Members of non military divisions will act as military auxiliary in times of great need.
All conflicts within the initiative will be resolved by individuals in correspondence with the OSI (Office of Special Investigations).
The code of conduct is constructed as a living document and is subject to change as changes to the game or diplomatic changes within the verse are made apparent.
All items owned by any member of TPI are considered assets of TPI when regarding any information or documentation within the initiative while still actually being classified as owned by the individual
Below is a complete list of ranks as well as their general duties and responsibilities.
All members of TPI will be divided into their respective divisions, color coded on our discord. Dissemination of command will be as follows:
Division General: a single division general may oversee a maximum of 10 Overseers (total of 250)
Overseer: a single overseer can command no more than 25 personnel.
Officer: officers can supervise no more than 4 personnel at one time.
The four Divisions; Commerce, Logistics, Engineering, and Defense, make up the entirety of our organization. Their functions and roles are listed below, and are subject to change.
There are roles on the discord that are not listed here. Below is a description of their functions.
---Customs and Courtesies---
As a Mil-Sim "lite" organization, customs and courtesies are necessary for the proper functioning of the divisions. For officers, overseers, and generals, keep in mind that we are all here to have fun, and that outside of military operations, casual dialogue is encouraged over a more strict command structure.
With that out of the way, these customs and courtesies apply during Scheduled Operations.
A Scheduled Operation is defined as any member of the rank Overseer and above setting a calendar date and time for a specific task.
They also apply during Emergency Operations. an Emergency Operation is defined as: an operation starting once a member of rank Overseer or above prefaces their order with the word EMERGENCY three times.
During either form of operation, members are expected to follow the orders of those appointed over them. If an order seems unlawful as per the rules of engagement, or is otherwise ineffective, inform the officer respectfully and with brevity why you believe that their plan is a flaming pile of dogshit, instead of telling them so outright.
When it comes to POIs and Diplomats, refer to them as sir or ma'am when outside of casual conversation. They are our guests, and are to be treated as such.
More instruction will be added later as needed.
