Theocratic Military Dictatorship - Led by the High Supreme Commander
Private property and the ability to express oneself without the fear of persecution or mistreatment at the hands of those who disagree - Freedom of speech and thought are core tenets of the Teutonic religion.
Combat and expansion are key to the role of the Teutonic Order in universe and as such those with experience will quickly soar through the ranks. Those with little experience or desire to engage in persistent warfare need not worry either as R&D and Industry are also necessary fields to be manned.
"There is a thought that stops thought. That is the only thought that ought to be stopped." - If you agree with this statement, this is the place for you. Should you agree with the founding principles of the Teutonic Order, join, there will not be a more liberated organization.
Disclaimer: Members of this nation can and will be spicy individuals, your feelings warned, proceed how you wish.
The Banner of the Teutonic Order
Einheitliches Kreuz: Four Crosses intersected to symbolize unity of the sects of the parent religion of the Teutonic Order.
The High Supreme Commander holds complete and total authority over the right to make decisions with or without the approval of anyone in the Order; this exemption from accountability even extends to the Grand Commission. The High Supreme Commander also controls the accepted doctrine followed by the Order and is only advised by the Grand Commission.
Formed of the Grand Admiral, Grand General, Grand Director, Grand Administrator, and Grand Diplomat, the Grand Commission manages all efforts of the Order within the branch they command: Navy, Army, Research and Development, Industry, and Diplomacy respectively. In matters concerning the whole of the Order the Secretaries of State will act as advisors to the High Supreme Commander who will in the end make the final decision. For matters within their department specifically, the Secretaries of State will hold authority subject only to the High Supreme Commander. Essentially, this means five states work in unison held together by the Grand Commission and overseen by the High Supreme Commander. Appointment to the Grand Commission is done solely by the High Supreme Commander based on merit, the best person for the job will inherit this rank.
No spot in the Order is held due to privalege of first to occupy; all positions within the Order will always be attainable through strong work ethic and dedication. Promotion relies on a rule of merit and space available. Those in positions of power will moderate those below to allow for swift promotions and merit acknowledgement. There is a cap on how fast actions can be taken though, as without it there would be no way to stop constant reshuffling of personnel.
Those that wish to join will be seen to on a personal basis by the High Supreme Commander should they meet the requirements looked over by the Grand Diplomat. While there is hierarchy in the Order, as without out hierarchy all organizations are doomed to failure, each person is their own King of their own life. Jobs within the Order will vary greatly and there will not be a job sought that will not be found. Whether you are interested in the militaristic, industrial, research, or diplomatic elements of life, you will find a spot here.
You must speak English, though knowing other languages will help with the diplomatic sector of the Order. High positions of power will be reserved to those 18 years or older unless one demonstrates incredible ability to do the job. There is no age requirement for the Order in general, though if you hurt our ears because your voice is too high pitched due to age, that will preclude you from joining.
